Volunteer for United Way of Marathon County's Annual Leaf Raking Event!

Make a difference in the lives of community members who are elderly or physically unable to do this work themselves. United Way of Marathon County is excited to return to an in-person pick-up event for yard assignments and community resource bags that volunteers will distribute to each homeowner.

Join us at Whitewater Music Hall on Saturday, October 22, 2022, starting at 8:30 am to begin your day of service.
There will be activities for the whole family!

For the Community: Pick up your yard assignment at Whitewater Music Hall in Wausau Saturday, October 22, 2022,
between 8:30 am and Noon. There will be activities for the whole family!

For Companies: Join us on Friday, October 21, 2022, between 3:00-6:00 pm for yard assignment pick-up and
a social at Whitewater Music Hall in Wausau hosted by United Way’s Emerging Leaders.

(Call 211 during normal business hours to have your yard raked. M-F 8 am-5 pm) 

Service requests for yard raking start Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Priority will be given to requests received by October 7, 2022, at 5:00 pm. Requests received after this time will be added to a waitlist. The waitlist will remain open until October 20, 2022, at 5:00 pm.

United Way’s Emerging Leaders are hosting a Make a Difference Day Kick-off Event for service-minded companies and working professionals. Pick up your yard assignments and community resource bags to distribute at this time.
