Kara Walters

Finance & Administrative Assistant

Kara has been a part of United Way since 2018 in supporting roles as a Reception, Administrative, and Accounting Assistant.  She attended UW-Green Bay and has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Development. Kara is passionate about helping others achieve goals and creating a better lifestyle for themselves.

Kara says, "Working hard is important but so is spreading positivity and confidence; there is no such thing as a dumb question, and when you know better you do better."

Kara has also worked for Aspirus and in Green Bay at the Family Services’ Transitional Living Program, New Community Shelter, the YMCA, and Upward Bound.  She remembers volunteering with her dad through the Family Services Sexual Assault Center, New Community Shelter, Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Shelter, and with Walmart for Habitat for Humanity and Adopt-a-Highway.
